Custom Van Build Process
We know that building your dream van is a big deal… So, getting this right is important. Every person is different and van is custom, so every process is going to be somewhat unique. But overall, we follow the same five steps below.
Meet and Greet
Here is where the fun begins!
The first step toward your adventure is learning about your needs, dreams, ideas and budget. With this information we will start putting together the best possible plan for your design, floor plan, system requirements and any other must-haves (or would-love-to-haves) for you and your lifestyle.
Security Deposit
We’ll put together an estimate and basic design. Once you are comfortable with where your project is headed and you have decided to move forward, a $3,000 deposit secures the next available place on our build schedule.
Design
You work with our design team to nail down all of the features, functions and details. We will draft a full layout for your van for your approval. At this time we begin sourcing many of the materials for your build.
Production Begins
This is where the magic happens!
Depending on the complexity of your build, this usually runs in the 3-4 month range. When you drop off your van to us, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of your estimated build cost is required. We will be giving you periodic updates as your van moves through the production process. And, you are always welcome to check in with us, either in person or via Facetime.
Completion
You will arrive on your pick up day and get a detailed walk-through of every system and feature. Before leaving, the remaining portion of your balance for your project will need to be paid in full.
